 He Chose Me

Artist: Jimmy Swaggart

Album: Living Water

I will not look back on the things left behind

He chose me to follow Him.

There were so many others

that He might have chosen to follow Him

Others with learning and greater distinction to follow Him

Men with authority and forceful ability

who know how to speak and be heard

I don't know exactly why I'm here at all

but today I follow my Lord

It was business as usual that day till I hear Him say follow me

I left all the heartache when Jesus said follow me

I emptied myself of my old life completely

with no thought that this could be wrong

and as long as I follow the steps of the Master

I know just where I belong

He chose me

He chose me

I could not say no when He said follow me

and you'll be a Fisher of men

from now on

from now on

I will not look back on the things left behind

He chose me to follow Him

I will not look back on the things left behind

He chose me to follow Him

He chose me

He chose me

He chose me to follow Him.

I'm On My Way To Heaven

by Walt Mills

Well, I'm on my way to HEAVEN

and the journey gets sweeter every day

walking with JESUS,

talking with JESUS

all along the way

well, my soul gets so happy

that I shout and I sing night and day

yes, I'm on my way to HEAVEN

and the journey gets sweeter every day

Sure, I've had ups and downs

sorrows and frowns have passed my way,

but I paid no attention

just dropped the contention

I had no time to stay

Problems only weigh you down

and cause sunny skies to turn to gray

I said I'm on my way to HEAVEN

and the journey gets sweeter every day

( chorus )

GOD WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO SAVE me

AND WASHED ALL my old sins away

NOW HE LEADS me AND GUIDES me,

PROTECTS me AND HIDES me

AND KEEPS me each day

and I know THAT HE LOVES me

FOR HE ENTERED INTO my heart to stay

I said, I'm on my way to HEAVEN

and the journey gets sweeter every day.

( chorus )

I Claim Jesus First

♪ I Claim Jesus (Live) ♪

Houses and land i may not owned

Many riches be unknown

Little person in this world i may be

I can't keep up with its style

But i know am God's own child

I claim Jesus first and that's enough for me

I claim Jesus first of all

He will answer when i call

And i know i have a soul the Son set free

Underneath His loving wings

I am just as happy as the King

I claim Jesus first and that's enough for me

How precious is His grace

When you know the time and the place

That you left this world of sin down on your knees

Jesus caught my fallen soul

Its better felt and told

I claim Jesus first and that's enough for me

I claim Jesus first of all

He will answer when i call

For i know i have a soul the Son set free

Underneath His loving wings

I am just as happy as the king

I claim Jesus first and that's enough for me

(Repeat-chorus)

Jesus, Just The Mention

Of

Your Name

Jimmy Swaggart

Jesus, just the mention of your name

Flowers grow

The desert blooms again

Like fire in winter cold

Like pure precious gold

Jesus just the mention of your name

Like a lighthouse in the mist of a midnight storm

Like a harbor to a ship that's battered and torn

Like bread to a starving emptied heart

Like fresh running water to a soul that's parched

Jesus, just the mention of your name

Flowers grow

The desert blooms again

Like fire in winter cold

Like pure precious gold

Jesus just the mention of your name
